Doc visit 3 and bath time!
Today was a big day for the kids. They went to the nurse to see how well they were eating and a weigh in. They are starting to plump themselves up. Davis hit 7 lbs and Emery is up to 6 lb 3oz though she still feels light as a feather! That evening we gave Davis his first bath in the kitchen sink!

2 Weeks old ... Family photo shoot

Doctor check-up 2 and your momma dresses you funny!
Today Davis and Emery went back to the doctors for a weigh-in and checkup. They are back up to their full birth weight today which is day 10 for them and that is considered good growth. Again Davis managed to mark the exam room as his own while undressed for his weigh-in. As you can see by the picture the kids sacked out after the busy morning at the doctors office and had some wonderful outfit combos selected for them.

One Week Old
The first week went by so fast! Davis and Emery are healthy and (usually) happy. They are eating well and allowing the house to have a little sleep. Grandma Ham is keeping Roshena and Owen fed and providing an extra set of soothing arms for the babies to enjoy.

Doctor Check-up
After 2 days at home Emery & Davis went to the doctor on Sunday morning (yes, super handy doctors office is open on weekend mornings). The checkup went great, they are gaining weight and Davis even marked the exam room as his own with a little pee shower after being exposed for his weigh in. Picture of the day is the kids with their flowers from the Bugge grandparents in a planter that they received when Dad was born many moons ago.

Coming home from the hospital
After 4 nights in the hospital, Emery and Davis ventured out into the world. They were wheeled out with an emotional Roshena and took their first ride in the swagger wagon. The new Bugge family arrived home excited about the future, and a little scared about the first night at home without the hospital nursery!

Meet the Grandparents
Davis and Emery met their Grandparents later in their first day. Seen above with Grandpa and Grandma Ham and then Grandad and Grandmom Bugge.
Hospital Nursery
Emery and Davis stayed in the nursery a few hours between delivery and arrival to our hospital room.
Recovery Room
Emery Margaret Bugge and Davis Lee Bugge were born on July 12 2010 at 7:43 AM. Emery checked in at 5lb 9oz and 18.75 inches, while Davis weighed in at 6lb 10 oz and also 18.75 inches. Here is a picture in the recovery room with Davis on the left and Emery eyeing his cool toboggan. I don't she realizes she has her own!
